Hey there! I'm Cory, the founder of Phoenix Rogue. Think of me as the conductor of a symphony where branding, packaging, and creativity collide. More than anything, I love transforming brilliant ideas into tangible product packaging.
My adventure in this industry began with a move from South Otago to Christchurch over a decade ago. I dove headfirst into the wine industry (funny enough, I'm not much of a wine drinker myself), where I mastered the art of storytelling through a bottle – labels, packaging, and the whole experience. It's here that I learned how impactful packaging can turn a good product into an unforgettable one. This valuable insight is what I bring to the table at Phoenix Rogue.
But let's switch gears from work for a moment! When I'm not deeply immersed in my work (which happens more often than not), you can find me in my garden in Christchurch, my personal paradise. Here, I tend to my fruits and veggies, alongside my partner, Jason, and our big cat, Ralph, who prefers lounging in the sun to gardening.
Come winter, you'll find me cozied up with a gripping movie or lost in the latest Xbox game. And then there's pizza night – my ultimate favourite.
